The Fawang Temple is the second oldest Buddhist temple in China and training ground for young students pursuing their dream of becoming future Shaolin Kung Fu Masters. Its quiet, yet dynamic, presence is set against the backdrop of Yuzhu Peak at Mount Song. The smell of Juniper incense drifts atop the stairway leading to the main temple chamber where, within its walls, an ancient room-sized mural depicting the consequences of those who choose not to live a pure Buddhist life is revealed.
